My name is Lynn Verhoeff, but they call me the Picture Lady.
I was born and raised in South Africa, one of the most beautiful countries on this planet. I now live in America as a citizen and have a strong admiration also for this fine land. My husband was born and raised in the Netherlands, so I speak English with a Dutch overlay and an American twang!
In 1991 I started the small business, Picture Lady. I would go into hospitals and large corporations or large office buildings to set up an art gallery.
After some time my husband joined me in the business and “Picture Lady” changed to Picture Lady Home Products as we expanded the range of the home products that we offer.
I write the Creative Home Maker blog but we share the Grandma Thunder and the Griping Grandpa senior blog which is written mainly with tongue in cheek.
Peter didn’t want to be called Picture Lady when he joined me so I dubbed him “The Money Man”; very apt, for he takes care of the finances and the special orders.
The head office of our small businesses can be found in an exquisite mountain village called “Pine Mountain Club” near Frazier Park. We enjoy four seasons (all different), but best of all is the summertime where it is cool and yet beautifully sunny.
You can join us here for a white Christmas, renting one of our affordable cabins. Yes, you can do this through us. From time to time, like this upcoming Labor Day weekend, there are special festivals.
There are two ponds, a Club House with golf course, an almost Olympic size pool, and tennis courts. Across the road is the quaint commercial village where the Post Office and the General Store are in log cabins. We invite you to visit one fine weekend and to rent one of the affordable cabins, which entitles you to the use of all the Club House amenities.
Recently we opened a store at the Flying J Travel Plaza in Frazier Park.
We love living and working here so we want to say a very warm thank you to all who follow and support us, making it possible for us to enjoy a wonderful lifestyle.
See you at the next show, in our store, or having a very special meal at the Bistro in the Pines.
